The baby is a big girl now... she has moved from crib to toddler bed. I decorated her wall and bed with vinyl. Her Mom called her Little Miss, so I put that on the headboard. The fairies are glow in the dark vinyl.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

Here is a Halloween card I made using PDDU for all but the moon and the wording inside.

I used vinyl for the words and crushed velvet textured vinyl for the cat and the bats and cinnamon Stickles for their eyes.
The colors don't look nearly as nice in the pictures as they do in person.

Tribal Art is the latest craze this spring. It is appearing on everything from artwork to clothing.
I did this on the back of my convertable. I am hoping people will see this an it will bring me some business.
My teenagers tell me "it's sick", which I guess is a good thing!

Ater a long hiatus I think I am finally back to creating. It has been a year of losses so far for our family.
First my MIL,then my Father and now one of our best friends, Vicki, after an 8 month battle with cancer.

In honor of Vic, I will make my first post be of her Memorial bar I made for her support ribbon.

Book I Read

Just finished reading Nikki Sixx: The Heroin Diaries. Nikki Sixx is in the rock band Motley Crue.

If after you finish this book, if you ever start doing drugs or don't stop doing them, I wonder if there is any help for you.e

I saw a resemblance to a couple people I know in reading this book. One is still doing them an one stopped.

If you know someone who is using drugs or you think someone is, you should read this book. I just may open your eyes to a few things.

Easter Mailbox

Sorry I have not posted anything for a while. Just can't get excited about doing anything crafty since the deaths of my Dad and Mom-In-Law.
I did finally make something with my Yudu (got it for Christmas) yesterday but I messed up the wording so I am re-making it. Hopefully I'll get to it today, then I will post.

My husband got a call Monday night about 9:30 that his Mom was dying. They gave her 4 days tops.
Not 10 minutes later he recieved a second call. She passed away.
The very next morning, about 4:30am, I got the call to come to the nusing home for my Dad. I have been in MN for 2 weeks now with him. He passed away at 8:30am.

Please keep everyone in your prayers.

Sad news

We got the greatest Chritmas gift you could ask for with the Christmas Eve birth of our first Grandchild.
Today we got the very sad news that my Father is dying. He is in the death process. They don't expect he will live to the New Year. We are leaving for Minnesota in a little bit to be with him as he passes. Hopefully we get there in time.

Please keep him an us in your prayers.

Can you believe it's November??

I have to get busy making Christmas cards. I swore when last Christmas came so quickly that I didn't get cards made, that I would get them done this year... we'll see. I am going to do my best!
With our first grandbaby due New Years Day things are going to get crazy! Shelby actually went into pre-term labor on Friday night. They ended up giving her a shot of something to stop it. They were also able to do a test to tell if she would deliver within the next two weeks! Crazy! She will not, thank goodness!

Working on some new cut files to post. I will try to get some up today so check back later.We were in the hospital til 4am Sat. morning an I could not get to sleep once we got home so I am doing allot of napping trying to catch up. If I don't get anything up today I will for sure get something posted tomorrow.

So this past weekend my husband brought home one of these cool little trucks they use at the Cargil jobsite.
They had the company name on the sides with those magnet sheets and they were eating away at the metal.
I asked him if I could vinyl the company name on and he said go for it. Below is the finished product.
The best part is I was asked to do all the site vehicles. Yeah!
Hopefully this is the start of a something wonderful.

We have the Swine Flu!
Youngest, Peyton, was diagnosed yesterday, Dylan came home from school just now not feeling well though no temp yet and the oldest, who is expecting, was put on Tamaflu yesterday as a precaution but woke with all symptoms except the fever this morning. Fever came on second day for Peyton so we'll see what tomorrow brings. Shelby has an OB appt. in the morning we'll go from there with her.

WOW! What a surprise this morning!
I'm always excited when the Cricut Chirp comes out but when I opened it this morning and started down the list of highlighted projects I got a major surprise!! At the end of the list was one titled Trick or Treat. Thinking nothing of it, I open it and there are my pumpkins!! I made the Chirp! I never thought that would happen! Thank you Cricut!!

I too was surprised they choose a SCAL project, though I have seen others on there.
I see them posted on the MB all the time.

Sorry everyone! I promised to upload some more cut files the other day an I ended up getting sick. Feeling well enough to get this post out quick but not up to being up long enough to load anything. I do have some more that match punches to get uploaded so please keep checking back. I am also going to start selling vinyl in 3 different sizes for those of you looking for smaller cuts. I plan to list 6x12, 12x12 & 12x24 pieces but may also go down to 6x6 becase I know sometimes you just need a very small piece of a color.
I will be lising them in an ebay store and will add the link when I get it all posted on there.

Having a very bad day. Allot more physical pain than usual today an also pain in my heart because my sons best friend is moving to Denver this weekend. He has become a real part of our family. My son is very upset an my younges is also in tears because she looks up to him like a second brother. It will be a tough weekend for the whole family.

Made a bunch of these for Vicki's friends and family to put on our vehicles to show our support for her. She has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and it is also in the bone. The blue and silver represent all cancers and since she has 2 kinds these are the colors I chose.
